February Fling - Wednesday Wrap-up #1

Every day in February on my Facebook page (visit it here) we are doing the February Fling. Getting rid of things and habits that are no longer serving our lives.  Here is a wrap-up of what we've flung so far!  Please join us!

Day 1.  Books - Go to the nearest bookshelf and pick at least 3 books that you will never read again. Destination - Donate the books to your local library or a charity.

Day 2.  Food - Look through your pantry and cupboards and dispose of items that have expired or that have gone stale. Destination - trash can.

Day 3.  Spices - Look through your spices and get rid of any bottles that are expired or you bought for a special recipe and will never use again. Destination - trash can or recycle bin.

Day 4.  Markers/Pens - Get rid of the excess pens (all those freebies) and the dried out markers. This can include broken crayons and pencils sharpened down to a nub. Free those overflowing drawers! Destination - Trash can. (note: One fan suggested give pens and pencils in good working order to a local school for kids who don't have supplies.)

Day 5.  DVR - Delete 2-3 shows you’ve either already watched or will never get around to watching. Be honest with yourself! Destination - Just delete them and poof, more room on the DVR.

Day 6. Socks - Abandon all hope and get rid of all those single socks without mates, as well as the hole-y ones and the ones that are so dirty they will never get clean again. Destination: Trash can or rag box.
